Alejandro Serena Llinares (1975 ) studied piano at the Conservatory of Valencia with pianist – composer Federico Castellano . With the advice of chef conductor and mentor Miquel Rodrigo i Tamarit he arrived in 1993 at the Maastricht Conservatory and studied under the guidance of Professor Tonie Ehlen.

Alejandro followed lessons and master classes with Peter Donohoe, Jeroen Riemsdijk, Carola Grindea , Peter Feuchtwanger , Barbara Grajewska , Joop Celis , Alberto Giménez Atenelle , Willem Brons , Alan Weiss, Semyon Skigin  en Diane Andersen.

Alejandro has given recitals in different formations in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Spain.

Since 2006 he is working as a methodology piano teacher, auditory training, piano accompaniment and master coach.

Since 2009 he has been involved in European projects such as Grundtvig, Afita and MMM (music mentoring matters) in collaboration with various conservatories in Spain, Germany and Netherlands.

In 2010 Alejandro introduce the young piano talent classroom curriculum as part of the Conservatory with great success. Alejandro is at this moment assistant teacher of Pr. Tonie Ehlen and Pr. Katia Veekmans in the young talent department.
